Preparing of multilingual electronic study materials as a support of internationalization of education  in study programs Fire Protection and Safety

The aim of the project is to contribute to improving the quality of higher education in the field of Safety and Security Sciences by providing English and multilingual study materials for students of the study programs Fire Protection and Safety in the environment of full-time and online education. The aim of the project is to build a language infrastructure for the internationalization of studies at all stages of the study of Fire Protection and Safety study programs.

The events associated with the SARS-CoV-19 coronavirus pandemic have brought new challenges for education at all levels of study, but have also opened up new possibilities for involving innovative methods and technologies in the educational process.In terms of the requirements currently placed on universities in Slovakia, but also in a common European platform, their openness and internationalization is expected, so as to ensure the continuity of studies and provide students with the opportunity to study at any European university. At the same time, against the background of the political war situation in Ukraine, there is a requirement to allow young people forced to leave their homes to study.

As part of the project solution, electronic study materials will be created for selected thematic units and profile subjects, mainly in English, and interactive study manuals and dictionaries in English, German and Ukrainian will be supplemented with video manuals and materials for electronic testing.

The benefit of the project will be to build the possibility of simple and smooth involvement of students from other countries in studying at the Technical University in Zvolen in full-time or distance form and increase the attractiveness of Fire Protection and Safety graduates for the labor market due to their better language readiness to solve problems in a professional environment at international level.
